How to install Cosmo Player 2.1 on Netscape 4.x browser

Installation summary

You can download this plugin for free e.g. from:
Cosmo Player 2.1 (WIN95,NT from Japan)

The installation of Cosmo Player 2.1 for the Netscape is simple and fast. In short, you have to choose "other, unsupported browsers" and then locate the plugins directory:

c:\program files\netscape\communicator\program\plugins

I suggest you to try to install Cosmo Player 2.1 now and if you encounter problems, read the detailed instructions below.

Detailed instructions for installation

After the Cosmo Player is installed, it is good to set it up for the OpenGL renderer: Open a VRMl world which shows also the dashboard (this is the case with most VRML worlds) and click on the "preferences" button (fig.6). The preferences panel opens. Go to "Graphics" and choose OpenGL renderer (fig.7).

Have a lot of fun!
